My name is Mingwei Zhang. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, I earned my bachelor’s degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in the major of materials science and engineering by the summer of 2017. Now I am at the University of California, Davis (UCD) to further my love and passion for materials science and engineering by pursuing the Ph.D. degree and researching high-temperature mechanical behaviors and deformation mechanisms for metallic structural materials.
